Evans, 87, of Cambridge Square, died at 4:12 a.m. September 10, 2017, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Bobby was born April 24, 1930, in Columbus, the son of Clarence and Laura Young Evans. He married Patricia Biddinger. Survivors include his wife, Patricia; son, William L. Evans of Lafayette; step-daughter, Linda Henderson of Columbus; grandchildren, Mike Evans of Lafayette, Laura Scroggins of Bloomington; step-grandchildren, Jay Palmer and John Palmer of Columbus He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Beth Ann Evans, and a brother, Donnie Evans.
