Bonnie Holley, a cherished soul whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 11, 2025, in her hometown of Columbus, Indiana. Bonnie was born on April 24, 1942, the daughter of Curt Streeval and Evelyn Scroghan Greathouse. She married the love of her life, Henry Holley on June 8, 1960.
In the bustling city of Columbus, Indiana, Bonnie and Henry embarked on a successful entrepreneurial venture, establishing B & H Cleaning Service. Their business flourished for over 25 years, a testament to their hard work and dedication. This endeavor was not just a means of livelihood but a shared dream that they nurtured into a community staple.
Upon entering their golden years, Bonnie and Henry chose the serene backdrop of Cumberland County, Kentucky, to enjoy their retirement. In this tranquil setting, Bonnie's passion for giving and community involvement found new avenues. She became a cherished volunteer at the Cumberland County Hospital gift shop, where her bright smile and genuine care for others brought comfort and joy to many.
Her community engagement didn't stop there. Bonnie was an active member of the Homemakers Krafty Kritters, where her creative talents and knack for crafting were both admired and inspirational. She also joined the Cumberland County Cruizers, sharing in the camaraderie and enthusiasm of fellow members.
In her final weeks, Bonnie's resilience shone through as she spent precious moments in the loving care of her grandson's home. It was here that she continued to demonstrate the remarkable strength that had characterized her entire life, drawing her family close in a circle of support and affection.
A service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Jewell Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Marty Wright officiating. Calling hours will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Jewell Rittman Family Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, and one hour prior to service time on Wednesday.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Teresa Holley Schmitz, of Columbia, KY., Mike (Priscilla) Holley, of Burkesville, KY., Stefani (Kent) McClain, of Burkesville, KY.; a brother, Dan (Teri) Streeval, of Springfield, IL.; grandchildren, Sarah Ross, Travis (Brooke) Mouser, Jacob (Kelsie) McClain, Hannah (Cody) Daniels, Jackson McClain, Natalie (Matt) Chilton, Tiger (Carly) Baldwin, Samantha Holley, and Elijah Holley; great-grandchildren, Molly (Hart) Mathis, Ryleigh Ross, Joey Ross, Lucy Ross, Stetson McClain, Archer Daniels, Evelynn Holley, Avery Finley, Willa Byrd, Winsten Chilton, Karson Chilton, Brielle Mouser, Lincoln Mouser, Regean Mouser, Annalee Mouser, and Danny Baldwin; and great-great-grandchildren, Oaklynn Mathis, and Oliver Mathis.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Henry Holley, a daughter, Tina Holley and a great granddaughter, Wynonna McClain.
