Bonnie J. Risk, 82, of Riverside Drive, died January 24, 2016 at her home. In keeping with Bonnie’s wishes, a private family service with entombment at Garland Brook Cemetery Mausoleum is planned at a later time. Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Risk of Columbus; son, Eric L. Risk of Greenwood; daughters, Renee (Scott) Strietelmeier of Hope and Rhonda (Doug) Brown of Indianapolis; a brother, Harold Pruitt of Columbus; sisters, Bernice Torre and Jennie Pruitt, both of Columbus, and Patricia Hanner of Brown County; and one grandchild. Memorial donations can be made to ABC Stewart School or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility through the funeral home. Services were entrusted to the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.

The picture says it all. Always a smile and so proud of her family. Bonnie leaves a legacy of love and devotion and she passed that on to her children. While theres never a good time to say goodbye, there is a time to celebrate a life well lived. She will be missed but she will live on in her children and grandson. Bob, Im thankful that you got to spend almost all of your life with your best friend. Eric, my brother, know that you made her proud and it that takes a man to be a good son. Youre a good son and a great friend. Love you buddy. Jim and Dawn
