Tyree, 82, of Indianapolis, formerly of Columbus, died at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at Rosegate Village in Indianapolis. Bonnie lived most of her early life in Anderson and graduated from Anderson High School in 1948. A dedicated homemaker her entire life, she was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and had been a volunteer at King's Daughters' Hospital and Columbus Regional Hospital for many years. She was also active in her church, East Columbus United Methodist Church, and Housing Partnership. She enjoyed traveling and gardening. Mrs. Tyree was born in Anderson March 28, 1930, the daughter of Bernard C. Anderson and Dorothy M. Keesling Anderson. She married Charles W. Tyree July 23, 1948. He survives. Also surviving are sons, C. Dale Tyree, Atlanta, GA, Brian L. (Patricia) Tyree, Indianapolis,IN, and Toby S. (Pam) Tyree, Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Charles B. Tyree, Tiffany N. Peterman, Sean Gresham and Colin Gresham; and great-grandchildren, Briley Tyree, Emery Tyree and Easton Peterman. She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard C. Anderson; her mother, Dorothy M. Anderson; and a daughter, Regina Tyree.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Bonnie was a wonderful lady who always carried herself with class and grace.
