Brenda Sue Lewis

Brenda Sue Lewis, 64, of Columbus, passed away on November 21, 2023, at her home. She was born on June 18, 1959, in Scottsville, Kentucky, to Kenneth Ray Smith, and Elizabeth L. Shields Smith. She was the wife of William Lewis Jr., who survives her. Brenda was an Assembler Operator at Columbus Container. In her free time, she loved to collect unicorns, and stuffed dogs, as well as chimes with her mother-in-law. She enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons with her friends, bubble games, and word searches. Her family was her greatest love. She is survived by her husband, William Lewis Jr.; her daughter, Brandy Wall; brother, Jeff Smith; sister, Kimberly Smith; grandchildren, Andy, Nikkie, and Landon; and one great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth, and Elizabeth Smith; sisters, Linda Meranda, and Loretta Hays; grandchild, Alexandria Sue Dix; and her beloved chihuahua, Angel. A funeral service will be held for Brenda at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Tony England officiating the service. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, also at the funeral home. Brenda will be laid to rest at Garland Brook Cemetery.
