Brent Mikel Breeden, 54, of Saint Helen, Michigan, formerly of Columbus, died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011 at his home. Brent was an Army veteran serving from 1978-1981. He attended Indiana University and was a small business owner of Breeden Drywall Company. Brent was an avid hunter, fisherman and sportsman. He deeply loved his family and country. Brent was born Aug. 5, 1957 in Columbus, the son of Harry W. and Sarah Lou Szatkowski Breeden. Survivors include a son, Nathaniel Breeden of West Virginia; daughters,Carrie Kolusch of Seymour, Michelle Breeden of Nineveh and Kimberly Breeden of Seymour; sisters, Deborah Wolfe of Columbus and Rebecca Croucher of Hope; brothers, Bradley Breeden of Columbus and Randall Breeden of Colorado and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bruce Breeden. SERVICES: There will be a private family funeral service. Memorials may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana.

  1. I am so sorry for the loss of Brent. I remember Brent and the other Breeden boys riding the bus in junior high and high school. All the guys were always so funny and fun to be around. Brent was a very good guy. Again, so sorry that your family is going through this.

  3. daddy, i love you and you will always be in my heart. your my hero ya know, i hope that one day when its my time you will be waiting on me at the gates. remember the time that all of us kids were in you and mommies room and you were hiding in the closet and scared us kids. it was mean at the time and i was crying, but now that i look back i see the humor in it and laugh about it. you sure knew how to make us laugh and cry haha you were my father my best friend and once again my hero. your gone but not forgotten its a see ya later not a goodbye. i love you see ya later love your little girl, kimberly
