Candace Jean Francis, 61, of Elizabethtown, died at 11:31a.m. December 11, 2017, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Candace was born October 29, 1956, in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of Glen Harold and Jean Marie Caldwell Collins Sr. She married William Fred Francis July 29, 1980. He preceded her in death October 10, 2016. The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday, December 15, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Gail Greathouse officiating. Calling will be from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home to help with final expenses. Survivors include her son, William Anthony David Francis of Elizabethtown; daughter, Kylie Ray Francis of Elizabethtown; a stepdaughter, Natalie (Jerry) Gilpin of Rifle, Colorado; brothers, Glen (Pamela) Collins of Milan and Douglas (Shannon) Collins of Johnson, Vermont; sisters, Gail Greathouse of Elizabethtown, Glenda Bryant of Bloomington and Kimberly Taylor of Madison; and grandchildren, William Robert Riley Francis, Chevy Rae Francis and Madilynn Elizabeth Francis. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; and a sister, Kim Collins. My deepest sympathy to the Collins& Francis family with the passing of Candy.Sending prayers for all family & friends.It’s been years since I seen her,we had partied in our younger days! Thinking of U at this time of sorrow.
We are both deeply saddened that Candy is no longer with us. You have our condolences. Candy was a great family friend for many years and one of my Mom’s closest friends. She will be missed by the entire Nolting family.
