Carol Ann Anderson September 29, 1946 - January 12, 2011 Carol Ann Anderson, 64, of 25th Street, died at 10:33 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Mrs. Anderson graduated from North Vernon High School in 1964, attended Indiana University and then Muskegon Community College where she earned an associates degree in business. She moved to Columbus in 1971 when she and her husband founded Frank Anderson Tire Company Inc. where she served as Secretary/Treasurer. She was a big supporter of Columbus East High School and was a member of Kappa Kappa Sigma Sorority Beta Chapter and St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. Carol was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister and an enthusiastic grandmother. Born in Muskegon, Mich., Sept. 29, 1946, Mrs. Anderson was the daughter of Donald Eggleston and Norine McClelen Eggleston. She married Frank Anderson Oct. 12, 1968. Survivors include her husband; her mother, of North Vernon; a son, Donald (Camilla) Anderson of Newburgh; a daughter, Rebecca (Michael) Dickerson of Carmel; grandchildren, Olivia Anderson, Isaac Anderson, Alexander Dickerson and Tiffany Dickerson; and a sister, Bette Eggleston of North Vernon. She was preceded in death by her father. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 10 a.m. Monday, January 17, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church with Father Clem Davis officiating. CALLING: 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home, with a Rosary service beginning at 7 p.m. Private inurnment will be at Garland Brook Mausoleum at a later date.
