Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and loved country music. She was a member of Northside Southern Baptist Church in Indianapolis. Born in Springfield, Ill., Oct. 9, 1948, Mrs. Smith was the daughter of Walter Rogers and Madeline Dolly Whiteside Rogers. She married Dennis L. Smith Aug. 6, 1966. Survivors include her husband; a son, Anthony Tony (fiance Christine Bell) Smith of Indianapolis; a daughter, Lisa (Tim) Eddelman of Columbus; grandchildren, Tiffany Delgado, Damian Ward, Mikahla Smith, Bradley Eddelman and Brandon Eddelman; great-grandchildren, Chloyssa, Melissa, Gabriel and Jorge Jr. Delgado and Alexsis Ward; a brother, William Rogers of Springfield, Ill.; and a sister, Rose Marie (Duane) Lambert of Springfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Michael N. Rogers; and a sister, Judith Rogers.
