Carolyn Jean Kirts May 28, 1938 - September 06, 2005 Carolyn Jean Kirts, 67, of West Shady Lane died at 4:26 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2005, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Mrs. Kirts worked in the medical records department at Columbus Regional Hospital for 20 years. She was a member of First Christian Church, enjoyed Bible study, traveling, playing dominos with her friends and spending time with her grandchildren. Born in Anderson May 28, 1938, Mrs. Kirts was the daughter of Paul and Helen Hodson Bronnenburg. She married James H. Kirts Aug. 16, 1958. He died Feb. 20, 2003. Survivors include sons, James Michael Kirts and Brad Alan (Cindy) Kirts, both of Columbus; a daughter, Deborah Ann Kirts of Columbus; grandchildren, Libby, Sarah and Matthew Kirts; a brother, Paul Bronnenburg of Markleville; a sister, Janet Jones of Daleville; her mother-in-law, Martha Russell Moore; a brother-in-law, William P. Russell of Columbus; and sisters-in-law, Glenna Brown and Vicki Nentrup, both of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.
