PRIVATE SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT A LATER DATEMEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS:  Memorials may be made to the Riley Children's Hospital through the funeral homeCarter Bryan Compton, stillborn, of Hope, died at 3:00 p.m. January 31, 2016, at Columbus Regional Hospital.Survivors include his parents, Tyler James and Kristin Joyce "Camp" Compton of Columbus; brother, Timothy James Compton; sister, Madilynn Ray Compton; maternal grandparents, Christine Elkins of Columbus and Brian (Zelma) Camp of Hope; paternal grandparents, Russell (Dawn) Compton of Hope and Stacey Heagy of Columbus; and great-grandparents, Harold Johnson of Hope, Harvey (Beverly) Baker of Shelbyville, Rebecca Ponder of Columbus, Jim Slater of New York and Susan Townsend of Los Angeles. Carter was preceded in death by great grand parents, Izona Johnson, Cecil Compton, Barbara and Kenneth Camp and Beverly Birdsall.
