Cassy D. Raisor

Cassy D. Raisor, 65, of Appleway Drive, died at 7:45 a.m. September 12, 2019, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Cassy was born August 14, 1954, in Louisville, the daughter of Kenneth and Velma Hewitt Raisor. She retired in 2010 from Allison Transmission after 32 years of service. Cassy was a huge NASCAR fan and enjoyed playing softball in her younger years. The funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Calling will be 10 a.m. until time of service Tuesday. Entombment will be at Garland Brook Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in honor of Cassy. Survivors include her stepfather, Henry B. Stott of Columbus and stepmother, Carolyn Raisor of Brownstown; brothers, Guy (Marcy) Stott of Columbus and Shawn (Susan) Raisor of Brownstown and a sister, Becky (Ray) Raisor Weston of Brownstown; an uncle, Gary (Sylvia) Hewitt of Madison and an aunt, Phyllis (Carl) Bright of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Raisor and mother, Velma Stott; and a brother, Alan R. Raisor.
