Charles M. England January 18, 1925 - June 20, 2007 Charles M. England, 82, of Clover Court died at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at his home. Mr. England was a veteran of the Navy and retired from Golden Foundry after 32 years of service. He was a member of Lowell General Baptist Church and enjoyed talking to his pet bird, Buddy, feeding squirrels and collecting pocket knives. Born in Barren County, Ky., Jan. 18, 1925, Mr. England was the son of Calvin and Annie England. He married Dorothy L. Jessie Aug. 14, 1943. Survivors include his wife; sons, Don (Ann) England of Florida and Randall W. Jessie of Columbus; daughters, Joyce (Dallas) Spencer and Gail (Marvin) Root, both of Columbus; 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Wayne England Sr.; a daughter, Peggy Sue Rogers; brothers, Russel, James and J.T. England; sisters, Kizzie Mercer and Laura Jessie; one granddaughter; and two great-grandson.
