Vincent Charles Richard Vincent, 57, of John Street in Taylorsville, Ind., died Friday, November 13, 2009, at 12:30 a.m. at Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center. Charles was self-employed as a painting contractor. He enjoyed NASCAR and music. Charles served in the army in Thailand during the Vietnam War from 1972 to 1975. While in the Army he received the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. Charles loved spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Vincent was born October 30, 1952, at Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Charles Bedford and Wanda Bailey Vincent. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Wolbers Vincent of Taylorsville, Ind.; his parents, of Columbus; a son, Charles David Vincent of Taylorsville; a daughter, Melessa Lisa (Josh Pennington) Vincent of Taylorsville; brothers, Steve Vincent of Edinburgh and Danny (Christina) Vincent of Shelbyville; sisters, Donna (Ron) Trowbridge of Taylorsville and Janie (Tony) Burton of Columbus; and grandchildren, Brittany Nicole Vincent and Charles Austin Vincent. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, at the Jewell - Rittman Family Funeral Home. VISITATION: 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday and two hours prior to service time on Tuesday.
