Charles W. "Chuck" Collyer March 03, 1956 - January 27, 2010 Charles W. Chuck Collyer, 53, of Lee Street, died at 10:35 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Chuck was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, loved golf and his dog, Sham. He was an active member, trustee and past Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge, which he joined in 1988. He graduated from Indiana University and was an avid IU basketball and Colts fan. He was formerly employed at Centra Credit Union, where he performed numerous tasks. Born in Richmond March 3, 1956, Mr. Collyer was the son of Francis F. and Naomi J. Collyer. He married Pamela Carie June 3, 1979. Survivors include his wife; his mother, of Columbus; a brother, John F. (Sally) Collyer of Rushville; a sister, Cheryl (Ron) Placek of Columbus; four nieces; seven nephews; 10 great-nieces; and seven great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and a niece.
