Charles Ray “Charlie” Noblitt, 59, of Scipio, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022. He was born to the late Sheldon and Mary Lewis Noblitt. Charlie was a carpenter by trade, but was also a “jack of all trades” and was well known for his concrete work. He was a very devoted and loving man to his family, but especially to his grandchildren. Charles enjoyed spending his free time fishing, doing home repairs, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. Charlie is survived by his wife Michelle of nearly 32 years; his son Josh and girlfriend Valerie Scurlock; his daughter Alyssa and boyfriend Shaun Dixon; his eight precious grandchildren, Montana Newman, Chaz Newman, Kayleigh Cockerham, Rayne Law, Ayden York, Brently Noblitt, Kamryn Dixon and Samuel Dixon. He is also survived by his brother Troy (Simone) Noblitt; his sister Sheila Cockerham; his mother and father-in-law Sue and Larry Galyen; and sister in laws Cindy (David) Pate and Rita Galyen, and several nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Sheldon and Mary Lewis Noblitt. A Gathering of friends will take place on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 between 1:30-2:30 pm at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. A celebration of Charlie’s life will take place following the gathering at 2:30 pm. The family requests casual attire in memory of Charlie. Memorial contributions may be made to Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home to assist the family.   1. Charlie was one of a kind. Loved working with him, loved talking to him. He never had an unkind word for anyone ( that I ever heard). I am very sorry for everyone’s loss.
