(John) Freed, as well as her 17 grandchildren who were the light of her life. Her siblings, Tim Spaulding, Linda Lucas, Connie Phelps, and Tresea Boyter, remember her as a sister who was always there with a listening ear and a comforting embrace. Cheryl's parents, Harry and Sharon Schaffner Spaulding, predeceased her, but she continued to carry their love and values forward in her every action. A funeral service celebrating Cheryl’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, and one hour prior to the service Wednesday.
