I have known Christie for years, we worked together at Ceraland as teenagers, we, Christie, myself and Kevin Niceley, would fight over who was driving the truck out to the shooting range to change out the targets, us girls usually won, Ha. We had a blast. My heart hurts, I will miss her dearly. Prayers to all of the family.
Christie was a very dear friend to many of us that graduated from CEHS 1978. Many of us remained friends and stayed in contact all these years. The attached pic was the last gathering we had that Christie was able to attend….this was last year.
Christie will be remembered as a strong woman with a dear heart for many.
RIP our dear friend and enjoy heaven
Rest in Peace Christie

On behalf of my family, I want to express our sadness and condolences to Christie’s loved ones. As a child growing up, I have so many special memories of Christie. She was like a daughter to my mom and dad (Sheriff Jimmie is how she always referred to my dad) and a great friend to me. Christie was one of the first ones to greet me the morning I arrived in Columbus when my parents were taken in a housefire back in 2008. Her tears and big hug reflected the sadness of all that were there that morning and the days after.
Christie was incredibly tender with a measure of just the right toughness and a laugh and smile that lit up the room. So very sorry to hear of her loss. She will be greatly missed.
