Christopher D. Kent

Christopher was born June 18, 1985, in Columbus, the son of Kevin D. and Lori R. Kent Purvis. Chris was currently employed at Tipton Mills Food. He was a coin collector and loved spending time with his children. Survivors include his father, Kevin D. Purvis of Columbus; mother, Lori R. (Tim)Miller of Pocomoke City, Maryland; step-mother, Mary Herrera of Columbus; a son, Carter Lee Kent of Columbus; daughter, Halle Nicole Kent of Columbus; brothers, Michael Kent of Columbus, Timmy Miller II of Maryland and Rocky Miller of Columbus; sisters, Casey L. Purvis, Gabby Herrera, Jennifer Herrera and Tabitha Miller all of Columbus; grandfather, Larry Kent of Pocomoke City,Maryland; great-grandparents, Glen and Jean Hadley of Columbus; and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rosemary Ruth, Herbert O.Purvis and Linda D. Kent; brother, Scott Sheppard; sister, Jessica Skirvin; uncles, Doug Purvis, Sean Kent and Darin Kent; and aunts, Terry Giles and Janet Roscoe.
