Roy, Nikki, Brian and Family, I am so very sorry. What a wonderful lady. Nikki and I been friends since 2nd or 3rd grade, when I met her mom and dad they were amazing and treated me like I was theirs. I became “Ugly Girl” by Roy and Darlene would say “Roy now don’t call her that” and I would laugh. She was such a soft gentle sole. I would see them at Jayc or Walmart and they would always have a smile and hug for me. Darlene always was talking about her kids and grandkids (they were the apple of her eye). I loved hearing about everybody. You guys I’m so very sorry for your loss. She was a life well lived. We all should strive to be a Darlene, one amazing lady. Love you all, Melissa Hendershot
So sorry to hear of Darlene’s passing. Keeping everyone in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Love to all, Dean and Kay Burton and family.
