David A. Diebolt March 07, 1930 - December 18, 2009 David A. Diebolt, 79, of Flintwood Drive in Columbus, Ind., died at 1:15 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2009, at Keepsake Village. David was a Barbershop Singer. He was also active in the Boy Scouts of America for many years. Mr. Diebolt retired from Dadco Company. He was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church and a National Guard veteran. Mr. Diebolt was born March 7, 1930, in Detroit, Mich., the son of Elmer and Mildred Buck Diebolt. He married Dorine Hansen on June 25, 1955. Survivors include sons, Steve (Pam) Diebolt of Columbus, Ind. and Dan Diebolt of Queenstown, Maryland; a daughter, Maribeth (Ted Oren) Diebolt of Indianapolis, Ind.; grandchildren, Yolanda Eddelman, Amanda (Chuck) Hupp, Matt (Brittany) Diebolt and Andrew Diebolt; great-grandchildren, Zarek, Zenethia and Tata England, Jacob McKee, Michael Goodin, Logan Michaels, Haven Eddelman, Charles, Jaraca and April Hupp, and Dakota and Nolan Diebolt; and a great-great-grandchild, Makenna. David was preceded in death by his parents; his wife on August 7, 2009; a son, Timothy Diebolt; a granddaughter, Carol McKee; a great-granddaughter, Ellen McKee; and Funeral Information FUNERAL: 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 21, 2009, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church with Father Clem Davis officiating. CALLING: 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. BURIAL: Garland Brook Cemetery.
