David Lee Fields

David Lee Fields, 71, of Elizabethtown, died May 6, 2019, at his home. David was born May 23, 1947, in Columbus, Indiana, the son of Norman Lee and Louisa Boswell Fields.  He married Sue Carol Fields June 20, 1966. He enjoyed shooting, hunting and fishing, along with NASCAR and old cars. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2019, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Dale Lucas officiating. Calling will be noon to time of service Monday.  Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery with military honors presented by the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard. Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. Survivors include his wife, Sue; daughters, Tess (Tim) Carroll, Anna Smith and Misti (Terry) Smith; brother, Lawrence Fields and a sister, Etta Frazier; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; children Timothy Fields and Lory Fields; and brother, LroyFields and a sister Alice Hiatt.
