SERVICES: A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Virgil Clotfelter officiating. VISITATION: Calling hours will from 5:00 p.m. until service time on Thursday. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bartholomew County Humane Society or the Indianapolis Zoo. Dolores M. Cockerham, 75, born January 19, 1937 in Rolla, Missouri to Roy & Hazel Stine, she passed away December 30, 2012. Dolores was raised in Seymour, IN and graduated Seymour High School in 1955. She married Ronald H. Cockerham on January 3, 1956, he survives. Dolores is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Brown of Columbus, IN; son, Doug Cockerham of Carmel, IN; brother, Robert Saffell of Denver, CO; four grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive. Dolores was proceeded in death by her parents, grandparents, several aunts and uncles and brothers, Jim Stine and Jim Hiner. Mrs. Cockerham retired from JCPenney Store after 30 years of service. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family and friends.
