Don F. McNealy

Don F. McNealy, 80, of Columbus, passed away August 26, 2022 in Greensburg, Indiana.
Don was born February 28, 1942 in Greensburg, the son of Charles Franklin and Ione Nugent McNealy. He married Sharon Farlow on August 12, 1962, and has spent every year of his life since simultaneously entertained and lovingly exasperated by his bride for 60 LONG years.
Don was a member of Waynesburg Christian Church, and enjoyed gardening and tractor pulls. He was an avid NASCAR fan, and enjoyed watching Indiana University sports. Don will be remembered above all else as a kind man. He never met someone he wasn’t willing to help, or talk to for that matter. As a farmer throughout his life, Don was always willing to help out fellow farmers when they were shorthanded or behind with their work.
He is survived by his wife Sharon; his sons Rich (Missy) McNealy, Todd (Lisa) McNealy, and Keith (Nick Hunnicutt) McNealy; grandchildren Matthew (Marilyn) McNealy, Cody McNealy, and Seth McNealy; brothers Charles E. (Nita) McNealy and Marvin (Sonja) McNealy; sisters Maryann (Roger) Redmon and Vivian (Garry) Gault; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; as well as an infant son Troy McNealy.
The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday August 31, 2022 at the Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Wes Jones officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm. Tuesday, August 30, 2022 and from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home Wednesday.
Memorial donations may be made to Mayo Clinic for Dementia and Alzheimer’s thru the funeral home.
