Donald Ray Hashman, 57, of Nashville, died at 12:38 p.m., May 5, 2019, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. Donald was born July 30, 1961 in Columbus, the son of Donald Dean and Marilyn (Strong) Hashman. Don loved fishing and mushroom hunting. He was very proud to have served his country in the United States Army. Don was a hardworking man who took pride in his craftsmanship. He will be remembered for his love of helping other people. Don loved spending time at the Eagles and the American legion playing cards with friends. A loving father and grandfather, Don will be missed by all who knew him. A celebration of life will take place at the Eagles located at 930 Washington St. Columbus, IN., on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. All friends are welcome. Military Rites will be performed by the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard at the Eagles. Survivors include his mother, Marilyn Hashman; a son, Patrick Hashman; a brother, Tracy Hashman; sisters, Sandi Hashman/Brown and Wendy Hashman; and a grandson, Adrian Hashman.
