Doralis D. J. Palmer, 43,of Patterson Road died at 3:02 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Mrs. Palmer was formerly employed by the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation. She loved volunteering at the schools and at Columbus Free Methodist Church. She also loved camping, boating, swimming and her two dogs, Rock and Tasha. She was a member of Columbus Free Methodist Church.
Mrs. Palmer was born July 5, 1963 in Columbus, the daughter of George Arnold and Barbara W. Harmon. She married Rick Palmer March 29, 1986.
Survivors include her mother; her husband; a step son, Rickie Palmer Jr. of Columbus; and a sister, Dolores Shorty (Bruce) Harper of Edinburgh. She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral Information
VISITATION: Friday July 6, 2007 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and also Saturday from noon until the time of service.
FUNERAL: Saturday July 7, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Lane Loman officiating.
BURIAL: Garland Brook Cemetery
