Born in Edinburgh Sept. 21, 1926, Mrs. Lucas was the daughter of Arthur Brannan and Jeanette Hedger Brannan. She married Sherman C. Lucas Jr. Nov. 16, 1944. Survivors include her husband; sons, Jerry Michial (Mary) Lucas of Mooresville, IN, and Gregory C. (Elaine) Lucas of Indianapolis, IN; a daughter, Cynthia L. (Matthew) Keever of Sheridan, IN; a sister, Jean Bryant of Franklin, IN; a son-in-Law, Herbert Richardson of Columbus, IN; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Brannan and Jeanette Hedger Brannan Lucas; a daughter, Janet Sue Richardson Lucas; and a brother, Arthur Dale Brannan.

Doris was a wonderful person. I remeber going to Sherman and Dois house when I was a little girl and visting with them with my grandparents Pete and Lou Greenlee.She will be sadly missed.
