"Dottie" Lambrecht, 73, of Clifford, died at 7:53 a.m. Friday, November 15, 2013, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. She was born in Bedford, March 21, 1940, the daughter of the late Herbert "Rip" and Dorothy Elma Isaacs Miller. She married Bill Lambrecht on June 12, 1960, and he survives. Dottie was a member of the Hartsville Baptist Church and was formerly a member of First Baptist Church of Hope for 30 years. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother and loved to travel. She was formerly employed as a caterer for Winchester Weddings in Hope. In addition to her husband, Dottie is also survived by sons, Michael (Tammy) Lambrecht of Scipio, and Mark (Emily) Lambrecht of Columbus; daughters, Kimberly (Bruce) Beecher of Columbus, and Karen (Todd) Franklin of Chester, Va.; a brother, James (Susie) Miller of Manitowac, Wis.; grandchildren, Ryan Beecher, Alison Beecher, Spencer Franklin, Rachel Franklin, Carter Lambrecht, Macy Lambrecht, Alexandra Reynolds, and Lillian Reynolds; and great-grandchildren, Keiran Perera, Koda Beecher and Averie Beecher. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Dear Bill and family and Jim Miller and family. How we wish we could be there with you to “mourn with those who mourn.” We are doing that tonight and tomorrow(just the two of us)Dottie was a wonderful cousin and friend. I am so happy that her best childhood memories were with me and my family at the farm in Southern IN. Our prayers are with all of you.

Bill and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Dottie’s passing. I know she was in great pain, and you can take comfort knowing she is pain free now and with the Lord. I know this will be a difficult time for all of you, but know I will continue to pray for you and your family during this difficult time. Dottie was a great friend of Ellen’s and I often tagged along on their crusing around bedford, or stopping for pizza. I love being with Ellen’s friends, especially Dottie! So glad Dottie was able to enjoy the girls visit and they got to enjoy Dottie and hwer wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed by many. Love to you and your family. Dana

Our loss is Heaven’s gain. Miss Dot meant a lot to me. She shared her daughter with me, her humor was uplifting, her love for family was unfailing, her love for Mr. Bill was so sweet. She lived a Christian life and it showed! Miss Dot would encourage us to love the Lord and do good to others. I look forward to seeing her again! We didn’t have many face to face conversations but I felt a very loving connection to this sweet lady and will miss her!

Dottie was one of my best friends >>we shared a lot together & I’ll miss her so much. Even though it’s hard to let her go, I’m thankful that she is now at peace with no pain.
