Dorothy Mae Lain December 11, 2008 Dorothy M. Chandler Lain, 93, of Jonesville Road entered into eternal life at 10:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at the home of her daughter, Pauline Sutherlin. Mrs. Lain, an employee of Hoosier Kitchen for 20 years, attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Born in Edinburgh April 24, 1915, Mrs. Lain was the daughter of David and Maggie Richardson Chandler. She married Moses J. Lain Oct. 19, 1935. Survivors include a son, Robert J. (Linda) Lain of Edinburgh; daughters, Sue (John) Davis of Buffalo, Texas; Wanda K. Miller of Columbus, with whom she had made her home the last 10 years, Marjorie (Ed) Robinson of Taylorsville, Marilyn Diane Myers of Edinburgh and Pauline (Jerry) Sutherlin of Columbus; 29 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Charles Moses Lain; daughters, Melody Rose Cully, Margaret Bonnie James and Rosa Mary Scholar; her parents; three brothers; and two sisters. Funeral Information FUNERAL: Will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Bishop Stephen Vincent officiating.
