FUNERAL: Will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Shane Rocker officiating. Burial will be at South Park Cemetery.
VISITATION: Will be from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday.
MEMORIAL DONATIONS: May be made through the funeral home to the Joe Redleaf Memorial Fund.
Douglas Joseph "Joe" Redleaf II (Indian name Leaning Feather), 45, of Timbercrest Drive, died at 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at his home.
Joe was employed at Hitachi Metals in Greensburg and previously worked at Impact Forge. He was a member of the Santee Sioux Tribe of Nebraska and enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds. He was also a member of the Corvette Club and loved softball.
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, June 28, 1968, Joe was the son of Douglas J. Redleaf and Norma Gilbert Redleaf.
He is survived by a son, Kenny (Sarah Dunn) Redleaf, Columbus, IN; his girlfriend, Kelly McQueary, Greensburg, IN; former wife, Mechelle Ackerman, mother of Kenny, Columbus, IN; former wife, Glenda Collins, Freetown, IN; stepchildren, Nikki Stoner, Sarah Glidden, John Grider, Alexis McQueary, Zachary McQueary, Tinisha McQueary, and Michalea McQueary; a sister, Lora Turner, Columbus, IN; nieces, Deidree Eaglan and Lindsey Turner; a great-niece, Jadalynn Eaglan; a great-nephew, Kenton Newell; and grandchildren, Tom Redelman, Felicity Redelman, Joey Grider, Billy Glidden, and Draven Dobbins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a stepson, T.J. Williams.
