Wade Seaborne FINAL RESTING PLACE: Garland Brook Cemetery MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: Donors choice of charity Earl Kilby, 86, of East 25th Street, died at 9:14 a.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at Hickory Creek Retirement Community. Earl was born April 19, 1928, in Taylor County, Kentucky, the son of Lloyd Alexander and Mollie Rash Kilby. He married Betty Jean Tedder May 15, 1950. Earl was employed at Como Plastics for 12 years. He was then employed at Reeves Pulley/Reliance Electric, retiring in 1990 after 25 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening. Survivors include his wife, Betty, of Columbus; daughter, Judy Elaine (Steve) Shutters of Clearwater, Florida; brother, Elmer Ray Kilby; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Robert Lynn Kilby and Richard Dale Kilby; brothers, Lendolph Kilby, Opal Kilby, Albert Kilby, Willard Kilby and James Edward Kilby; and a sister, Carrie Kilby.






Betty. Judy and all the Grand children! I am so sorry to hear of Earl’s passing.. He was such a sweet person and always the same when you saw him.. I remember when the Children were born and just how happy he was and especially you Judy!! I love you!!
