Dad you were such an example of unselfish love and commitment to your family. May we be able to carry on your traits of love and acceptance to those who crossed your path. The body may not have been able to sustain life any longer here on earth, but I know you are very alive and rejoicing, playing with Levi and visiting all your family and friends who went before you. We honor you, not because of your departing earth but for what you accomplished while here on this earth, Furthering the Kingdom of God first and foremost, being a loving husband, father and friend to many. I look forward to your company one day soon, once again we shall play guitar, sing and be silly together as only you could do so well! You will be missed by all those who knew you! Your son, Les
Grandpa was one of a kind, in the best way. You always had such a way of bringing everyone together, making us all laugh and just making everything good. Always had joy in your heart. A man of God, good family and love. I smile when I think of you. I love and miss you deeply. I can’t wait for the day we’re all together again and can play our Smith family games, here your crazy jokes and my favorite your laugh! Love you Grandpa
I love you and I miss you and your beautiful smile.
I send my condolences to the Smith family at this horrible time. I remember Earl coached my Peanut league baseball team many years ago. I remember him and his son Andrew. Anyway I take care and may God bless.
Thinking of you during this difficult time. We hope our prayers and support will help comfort you in some small way. Sincerely, Pam,Brent, and Tori Overfelt.
While I never met Earl, it seems through the character, kindness, and compassion of his daughter that he must have been a very decent man.
