  1. Edna Kay Lacus was my elder Sister of 8 years. She took care of me when I was a baby, and never let me forget it! She loved Jesus, and shared Him with others whenever possible. I’m proud to say, that she was a praying Sister! Raised by her grandmother, she commanded respect and honesty. Edna was a loving, caring and forgiving person. She was very generous and helpful to many, when able to do so. She loved hard and grieved hard. She had a dry, yet fun sense of humor, so we had a lot of laughs. We could talk about anything together. Family, politics, hot topics, religion and prophecy were some of our favorites. She had a hard life, but kept pressing forward. She knew that Jesus was her strength, and He gave her Hope for a brighter future. Even though she suffered a lot of pain through her life, she tried to encourage herself and others. She loved watching church on line and on tv, when she couldn’t get there. Edna was one of my best friends, and I will miss her greatly! Even though we didn’t always agree, we still loved and forgave each other. I look forward to seeing her in Heaven! I believe Edna’s greatest wish is to see all of her family and friends in Heaven too. John 3:16, If this is your desire, pray this prayer sincerely to God. “Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God, and you died on the cross for my sins. Please come live inside my heart, and forgive me for all of my sins. Wash me and cleanse me with your blood, and make me a new person in you. Help me Jesus to turn away from sin, and make you the Lord of my life. Baptize me in your Holy Spirit and help me to live for you! Thank you Jesus, for saving me, In your name I pray, Amen!” (If you prayed that prayer and meant it, Now it’s important to pray to God daily in “Jesus name,” read your Bible, and find a good Church to attend.) This will help you grow in your relationship with Christ!

  2. She was my cousin. When she was living with grandma we would argue over who got to sleep in the good bed. 😄

  3. My momma was a strong woman who died with faith that she was going to be ok. I held my mommy as she took her last breaths on this earth and told her how much I loved her. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I miss her so much…

  4. Edna Kay was a dear friend in high school. So many great memories of her. I’ve thought of her often and am sad to see she’s left her family. Prayers of peace and comfort for her family.

    • Edna Kay was a classmate and we graduated together. I am sad as I thought about her and have fond memories. I mourn with you.
