Edward Anthony Schneider, 59, of Columbus, passed away October 1, 2016, at his home. Ed was born April 28, 1957 in Greensburg, Indiana, the son of Carl Edward and Dora Kesterman Schneider. He married Donna Sue Akers on October 6, 1984. Ed graduated from South Decatur High School in 1975. He was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, enjoyed hunting, and was a lifelong Cincinnati Reds and I.U. Basketball fan. Survivors include his wife Donna Sue, of Columbus; a son Mark (Katelyn) Schneider of Columbus; a daughter Julie (Brian) Doty of Greenwood; and a grandson Luke Doty. He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant sister Carol Ann Schneider.

Ed will be deeply missed by all that knew him. Take comfort in knowing he is with God. He will always be with you and though he was only with Luke for a short time he is now forever his guardian angel. Prayers and Love. Scott and Marty Doty
