Elizabeth Ann Pedigo
February 7, 1942 ~ August 30, 2024
Elizabeth Ann Pedigo, 82, known affectionately as Ann to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2024, at her home. Born on February 7, 1942, in Bradfordsville, Kentucky, to Patrick Tungate and Fannie Marie Rakes Tungate. She married Vandel Reed Pedigo on December 16, 1967.
Ann worked for many years beside her husband at Dolly Madison Bakery before she became disabled. Ann was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She enjoyed hosting many missionaries for dinner every month and loved to learn about their home lives. She relished her visits with Bryan and Kathy when they came to visit often, and they became her extended family.
Ann enjoyed her summers fishing and camping with her and her husband’s extended family. She lovingly became the “flower lady” as her garden became larger and larger every year. No one could match her unparalleled love for birds and wind chimes. Ann’s love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was the cornerstone of her life and she cherished every moment spent in their company.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2024, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Bishop Bryan Busselberg officiating. Calling hours will be from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Ann will be laid to rest beside her husband Vandel at Garland Brook Cemetery.
