Elizabeth May "Liz" Cowin

Elizabeth May “Liz” Cowin, 72, of Columbus, passed away 5:45 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Liz was born in Hope on March 11, 1946 to Martha Ridgley Robertson. She married William A. “Bill” Cowin on October 24, 1998. Liz loved her pets, Elvis and her Special Olympics bowling. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Calling will be from 9 a.m. until service time on Tuesday. Burial will be at Moravian Cemetery in Hope. Survivers include her husband, William; sister, Linda Dorman of New Albany; niece, Melissa (C.J.) Warren of New Albany; great niece and nephews, Ashlynn Jones, Jaden Warren and Arion Warren. Liz was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Robertson; sons, Clarence Lee Sanders and Felden James Sanders.
