Erick Matthew Foster

Erick Matthew Foster, 43, of Columbus, passed away at 10:40 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Columbus Regional Hospital. Erick was born in Dallas, TX on June 26, 1978 to Randall Field Foster and Suzie Robinson Foster. He married Jessica Nicole Hilyard on March 4, 2006. Erick was the owner and manager of his own business, uBreakiFix. In addition to being a loving and devoted husband and father, many friends feel a great loss from his sudden passing. He enjoyed art and music, especially punk rock, and gaming with friends online and in person. His infectious laugh and sense of humor will be missed. He is survived by his wife, Jessica; mother, Suzie Robinson Weeks of Odin, IL; children, Maximilian “Max” Foster and Lenora Foster; a sister, April Foster Bell of Springfield, IL; nibling and nephews, Genesis Stockton, Nicholas Bell and Zayne Bell; a cousin, Jennifer Jones Erick was preceded in death by his father; aunt and uncle, Bill and Diana Jones; a cousin, Shane Philpot and grandmother, Charlene Huckleberry. A private graveside service will be held at Port Williams Cemetery in Williams, Indiana at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Huntington’s Disease Youth Organization thru their website at EN.hydo.org. Arrangements were entrusted to Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
