Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I will miss visiting with Fred, when I went over to my mother in laws house I would go check on him and talk Corvettes. I loved looking at his little red Corvette.

    Jeremy

  2. Terry & Pat Robinholt, enjoyed being with Fred and Carol over the years. Wonderful and kind people, always willing help others.
Next month Fred would have achieved 31 years as a dedicated member in the Corvette Club of Columbus IN. Fred usually sat up front close to me at our meetings, so I made him our honorary Sargent of Arms. Freds stature and strong voice, always prevailed 😊
We will cherish all the memories.
Say hello to Carol for us.
    RIP 🙏🏻🙏🏻🎚️
    Love us ❤️

  3. We have enjoyed knowing Fred for many years being members of the Columbus Corvette Club. We spent alot of good times with Fred and Carol in activities with the club. We are thankful that we got to see and talk to him this summer at the Dairy Queen cruise-in.
He will be greatly missed but we have alot of wonderful memories to remember.
Our sympathies to your family in this sad time.
    God Bless,
    Bill and Nancy West

  4. I met and became lifelong friends with Fred and Carol through my Dad, Terry Robinholt (Current Corvette Club of Columbus President) and the Corvette Club of Columbus. We enjoyed many charitable events and fellowship gatherings together through the long years. Later in life, I got married, and my husband, Troy joined this fun Vette club crew. Troy always liked hanging out and catching up with Fred too! I will always remember Fred’s unique voice and his white beard( from long ago), which he shaved off out of the blue this one time and REALLY shocked us all! He just looked so different without the big beard. Ha! I can remember Dad always playfully joking with him and saying, ” Hey look, here comes old St. Nick…Santa Claus to the kids!” Fred would just nod his head, and laugh right along in his easy-going way. I will always fondly remember Fred as a fun-loving, humorous, and up for anything big teddy bear. I always loved seeing him behind the wheel of his very neat and sporty, classic red Vette. Especially, this one time when he drove it in the Brown County parade, only to have some ladies on a balcony swoon over his car and him. Fred really enjoyed accommodating all the ladies with humorous banter and conversation, smiling, talking, and waving AGAIN AND AGAIN! LOL So funny and neat to see! That’s just how Fred always was…friendly and always giving everyone the time of his day. I shocked Fred myself, this one time when Troy and I were having a casual conversation with him. Fred couldn’t believe I have never had a Brick Burger, even still to this day. So maybe I will make a special trip there for a curbside pick up, and have one in his honor…..Remembering you Fred, with love, fondness, and admiration. Hoping you are up there within the Pearly Gates and driving a Corvette of your choice, smiling, draggin’, and lightin’ it up out on Heaven’s strip! You will be greatly thought of and missed! Sending lots of love and prayers to all your family and close friends.❤️🙏…..The Buchanans… (Kim “Robinholt” Buchanan & Troy )
