Frederick L. Cave, 70, of S. Peoga Road, Trafalgar, died at 8:23 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011 at Columbus Regional Hospital. Frederick enjoyed bass fishing, westerns and family. He was a member of the country gospel group Heaven's Highway. Fredrick also attended Jewell Village Separate Baptist Church. Frederick was born July 3, 1941 in Brown County, the son of John and Florence Shipley Cave. He married Ruby Mings May 19, 1991. She survives. Survivors include his wife Ruby Mings Cave; sons, Kenneth (Rueann)Cave of Columbus, Fred (Tina)Cave Jr., Trafalgar, Andrew Cave, at home, Shawn Atwood of Columbus, Eric Cave of Jamestown, KY, Alan (Jacqueline) Atwood of Columbus, and Larry Atwood; daughters,- Carol Hartwell of Columbus, Tammy (Gary) Smith of Columbus, and Donna Bell, Campbellsville, KY; brothers, Daniel (Florence) Cave of Trafalgar, John "Buddy" (Barbara) Cave of Trafalgar, Gary (Winnie) Cave of Trafalgar, and Mark (Mary Ann) Cave of Arkansas; mother-in-law, Dwade Mings of Campbellsville, KY; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Leonard Cave.
