Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Nancy and I have known each other since we were kids and we only got the opportunity of meeting Gary once but what a wonderful meeting it was. He was so sweet and funny and it felt like we had known him for years. It was easy to see and feel the love between Gary and Nancy. My heart, love and prayers go out to all who loved Gary.

  2. I first met Gary (Packrat) at circle k. I was sitting on my bike smoking a cigarette drinking a coke, Gary rides up on his bike and as you can imagine we start talking about bikes. We must have sat there for an hour. We exchanged numbers and he gave me a chain bracket he had on and said we are brothers now. I remember it like it was yesterday. He was a good man and an even better friend. I miss you brother.

  3. I first met Gary when we were both in Tech school at Keesler AFB, MS circa 1972. We were both stationed in Germany at Lindsey AS in Wiesbaden, Germany.
We kept in touch off and on and around 2002 he called me saying his marriage was failing along with his business and he was at his wits end, needing a cash infusion.
I immediately sent him $10,000 and it seemed to do the trick.
15 years later I had lost my business, my home, my cars and reached out to him to see if he could repay anything. He blew up at me, told me to pound sand and blocked me on social media.
That’s who Gary was, a user and a taker who talked a big game about brotherhood.
