Georgia Schmidt-Katsimpalis

SERVICES: A private family service was held Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Mike Cole officiated. Entombment will be at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrilville at a later date. Georgia Schmidt-Katsimpalis, 79, of Foxpointe Drive, died at 9:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at Keepsake Village. She is survived by her sons, Kreg (Jennifer) Schmidt of Arlington, Va., Kim (Lynn) Schmidt of Batesville and Kevin (Karen) Schmidt of Spokane, Wash.; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Kurt Schmidt.
