Gerald Fry
March 5, 1928 ~ February 2, 2016
Gerald was a veteran of the Air Force, serving in World War II and Korea before retiring as a master sergeant. He was stationed at Bakalar Air Base as an aircraft mechanic. He also worked as a quality assurance inspector for the federal government before retiring in 1983. Gerald was a member of the Air Force Association and attended Community Church of Columbus. For 63 years, Gerald was a loving husband to his wife Betty, as well as a devoted dad to his daughter, Dianna, and his son, Jeff. Survivors include his wife, Betty; son, Jeffrey Joe Fry of Indianapolis; daughter, Dianna (Michael) Reedy of Wapakoneta, Ohio; and a half brother, Vernon Mowery of Chesterfield, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James H. White.
