Gertrude Lynette 'Fuzzy' Jones, 75, of Columbus, died at 12:41a.m. June 27, 2019, at her home. Fuzzy was born October 10, 1943, in Edinburgh, the daughter of Chet and Deloris B. Cornelius Brown. Fuzzy was known for being stoic, generous and thoughtful. She was the foundation of the family and deeply loved by all. She enjoyed traveling and researching family ancestry. In keeping with her wishes, Fuzzy will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Columbus Regional Hospital Cancer Center through the funeral home. Survivors include her daughters, Tamara Jones-Kathryn Ball of Ft. Myers, Florida, Valerie Bloom of Columbus and Angela Neace of Seymour; sisters, Sue Endicott of Columbus, Ruth Stropparo of Naples, Florida, and Jennifer Harris of Crothersville; her beloved aunt, Ruby Smith of Waldron; grandchildren, Brittany (J.T.) Wright of Fishers, Jessica (Ryan) Murphy of Crothersville, Leigha (Daniel Charles) Klakamp of Seymour and Alex Bloom of Columbus; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Katie Collman.

Just found out i lost a true friend … Lynette was a very special person i had the pleasure to know. I will allway’s remember the good times i had with her . She was a jet setter that had a free spirit that loved to travel with family and friends. She was one heck of a baker and cook. But above all she was one hell of a nice person. Im sad not to talk with her but cherrish the times that i did. i love her alot. Karl
