Glenn E. Moon January 28, 1935 - December 12, 2005 Glenn E. Moon Moon, 70, of Taylorsville died at 1:33 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, 2005, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Mr. Moon retired from Reliance Electric in July of 1997 and also had worked at Adesa Auto Auction. He was an Army veteran, a member of Calvary Community Fellowship and enjoyed NASCAR and car races. He loved to travel and spend time with his family. Born Jan. 28, 1935, Mr. Moon was the son of Earl and Thelma Moon. He married Joann Bennett March 11, 1961. Survivors include his wife; sons, Glen Earl Moon of Columbus and Mike Moon of Ohio; a daughter, Marcella Rarey of Seymour; grandchildren, Marika Rarey and Tony, Mary Ann and Becky Moon; a brother, Harvey Bud Moon of Middletown, Ohio; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Earl Moon Jr. and Bill, Bob and Harold Moon. Funeral Information BURIAL: Ohio Chapel Methodist Cemetery.   2. Love you and miss you Papaw. Happy Wedding Anniversary March 11th. 52 years of love and support that you and Mamaw gave each other! You have given me an example of what marriage should look, feel, and sound like. Blessed with God’s Touch, you and Mamaw have taught me well. I will continue on your legacy of leading a Christian-filled life, walking with the Lord daily, and upholding The Golden Rule. Thank you for showing, and continuing, to show patience in me. I am still growing in life and spirit. I’m no seedling anymore. I have sprouted into adult hood and am now blossoming. Sometimes my blooms may fall off, but with the support of God, You, Mamaw, Glen Earl, and my close family of friends, I would not have made it this far nor have the strength to rake myself back up and continue the fight that is LIFE. I love you always and miss you so much.

  4. Papaw, Its so hard to believe ten years has come and past. I know within those years, Ive seen the ups and downs that life has brought our entire family. I just want you to know that I will always love, honor, respect, and think of you as the only father-figure Ive ever known. Ill always be your “little-chipmunk”…but until then…hold me a place by the river…Ill meet you there. Love you papaw always and forever!

  7. Papaw, it’s hard to believe you’ve been gone 17 years…seems just like yesterday. The way your wife and daughter act now and how they mistreat your granddaughter and son…is the reason the Lord took you from us. You could not bare to see the hurt they cause me using my own son as leverage, as a pawn, as financial gain. It’s too much for me to bare. The way this “family” is now without you…they’re lost. So lost. I need you…I need them… they’re taking everything from me I ever loved and for what??? Money is the root of all evil. My life’s upsidedown and nothing makes sense anymore. God please help my family to get it together and begin to live for You…like they did once before. Please take away pains, hurts, griefs, and grudges from those close. Please help us to begin to heal! Help us to be renewed and restored honoring You and those waiting on us in Heaven! In Jesus name AMEN! I love and miss you Papaw always have always will and forever your Baby Chipmunks!
