"Fred" Perry, Jr., 60, of Indianapolis, died Monday, February 2, 2015, at his home. Glenn was born September 17, 1954, in Franklin, Indiana, the son of Glenn Frederick Sr. and Saundra Royce Perry. Fred was a member of the last graduating class of Columbus High School in 1973. He enjoyed music, swimming and was a Colts fan. Fred also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Saundra Royce (Charles E.) Martin; daughters, Rachelle M. (Thomas) Cox of Mooresville, Holly S. (Hershel) Gerson of San Francisco and Lindsey (Josh) Ayers of Carlsbad, CA; sisters, Julie (Bruce) Giggy of Columbus and Lisa (Jim) Spray of Indianapolis; brothers, James R. "Jamie" Perry of Plano, TX, Joseph O. "Joe" Perry of Owensboro, KY, Brett M. (Jeanie) Perry of Franklin and Dana J. Perry of Columbus; step-brothers, Greg L. (Andi) Martin of Hanover and Charles D. Martin of Owensboro; grandchildren, Shelby M. Cox, Makalah J. Cox, Jianna M. Ayers and Jenevie M. Ayers; an uncle, Dan (Marcia) Owens of Greenwood; 21 nieces and nephews; 24 great-nieces and nephews; and his previous wife, Susan E. Shafer who remained close and held a special place in Fred's life. He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Frederick Perry, Sr. and grandparents, Mabel and Amber Scott and Robert and Rosemary Owens.
