H. Dale Huston October 11, 1933 - August 04, 2007 H. Dale Huston, 73, of California Street, Columbus, Ind., died Saturday, August 4, 2007, at 6:15 p.m., at Silver Oaks Health Campus. Dale was an Air Force veteran and retired from Cummins Engine Company after 43 years of service. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He also was a past master of St. Johns Masonic Lodge #20 and a member of the Bartholomew County Veterans Color Guard. Mr. Huston was born October 11, 1933, in Winchester, Ind., the son of Fay and Beatrice Harmon Huston. He married Ann Murphy on Dec. 12, 1954. Survivors include sons, Mike (Marcia) Huston of Moraga, Calif., and Jim (Debbie) Huston of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Danita (Rob) Forgey of Greenwood, Ind.; grandchildren, Taylor, Amanda and Madison, all of Houston, Texas; brothers, Francis Huston of Ft. Wayne, Ind. and Gary Huston of Winchester, Ind.; a dear friend, Betty Holder of Columbus,Ind; and his dog Mindy. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife Ann who passed away June 12, 1996. Funeral Information FUNERAL: Wednesday, August 8, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home, with the Rev. Steven Kaetzel officiating. VISITATION: Tuesday, August 7, 2007, from 4 to 8 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until service time on Wednesday. There will be a Masonic Memorial service on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. BURIAL: Garland Brook Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Bartholomew County Veterans Color Guard. Donations Information MEMORIALS: Hospice of South Central Indiana.
