Hayden Andrew Zapfe, 22, of Columbus, passed away August 13, 2020.
Hayden was born August 6, 1998 in Columbus. He loved doing anything outdoors, including fishing, kayaking, and riding his Honda Ruckus. Hayden also enjoyed weight lifting and working on cars, but he especially loved spending time with his friends, which were abundant, as well as his dogs Paisley and Sophie.
Hayden is survived by his parents Buffy R.B. Snyder of Columbus and John W. Zapfe Jr. of Greensburg; a brother Sebastian William Zapfe of Greensburg; grandparents Jeanette Snyder of Columbus, Larry (Barb) Snyder of Greensburg, as well as John W. Sr. and Betty Zapfe of Greensburg; an aunt Melissa Castillo of Greensburg; and uncles Steve (Amanda) Snyder of Greensburg, Larry Snyder of Westport, and Joe (Sarah) Zapfe of Greensburg; as well as several cousins..
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday August 18, 2020 at the Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Aud officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of services. Entombment will be at Garland Brook Cemetery Mausoleum.
Memorial contributions may be made to Recover Out Loud thru the funeral home.
