Hayden Rachford

Hayden James Rachford was born into the arms of our Lord on Thursday, January 9th, at 4:55 AM, to parents Grant and Clarissa Rachford at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis. He weighed 4.9 ounces and was 8 inches long. He is welcomed into Heaven by his great-grandparents John and Rose Koschal, Bert and Francis Baltus, Elmer “Charlie” and Norma Trimpe, and great- grandmother Margaret “Margie” Rachford. He is deeply mourned on Earth by his parents, big brother Gavin Rachford, grandparents Rob and Tina Baltus of Columbus, grandmother Paula Rachford of Crown Point, and grandparents William “Bill” Rachford and Colleen Sackmaster of Naples, as well as his great- grandfather Homer Rachford of Valparaiso, along with other close family:  an aunt, uncles, cousins, and dear family friends. Grant and Clarissa would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to nurses Emily, Jenna, Cassie, Heather, and MaKenna; Bereavement Coordinator Marlie; and Dr. Winchester for their unwavering love, compassion, and support during this incredibly difficult time. We will forever be grateful to the L&D staff at Franciscan Health Indianapolis. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Hayden’s memory to Love Lucas, a non-profit organization that provides emotional, financial, and spiritual support to families suffering infant or pregnancy loss.
