Helen Brammer, 80, of Midway Street died at 9:40 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, at Columbus Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Brammer worked at Marsh Supermarket 30 years before retiring. A member of First Christian Church, she was an active member of the churchs Missionary Sewing Circle and also enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
Born in Hayden June 3, 1927, Mrs. Brammer was the daughter of Harry E. and Anna Smith Hallett. She married Roy G. Brammer Aug. 27, 1946.
Survivors include a son, Roy Steven (Deborah June) Brammer of Indianapolis; a daughter, Victoria Joy Covington of Columbus; grandchildren, Jerrine D. Brooks, Darrin V. (Lynieca) Brooks, L. Kyle (Lesli) Brooks, Kyla Joy Covington, Stephanie Ann (Brian) Rawlins, Steven Andrew (Jennifer) Brammer and Stacey Ann (Brandon Smith) Brammer; great-grandchildren, Jamie Brooks, David Brooks, Audri Hayes, Samm Hayes, Raylene Guthrie, Denisa Brooks, Jake Brooks, Shakira Lewis, Destiny Lewis, Aaron Rawlins, Austin Rawlins, Alex Brammer and Evan Harrison-Brammer; a sister, Betty (Charles) Robinson of Seymour; and a brother, Harry E. Hallett Jr. of Brownstown.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on April 12, 2007; and a brother, Donald Hallett.

FUNERAL: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Dan Wallace officiating.
VISITATION: 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday.
BURIAL: Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
