Helen Dilsizian December 16, 1928 - December 13, 2010 Helen L. Dilsizian, 81, of West Fiesbeck Drive, died at 6:35 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, at Silver Oaks Health Campus. Helen was a kindergarten teacher and a school crossing guard for many years. She also worked with children at various churches. She attended East Columbus United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially Sunday afternoon meals. She loved people and always had a kind word for everyone she met. Helen was a good Christian lady. Born in New Orleans, La., Dec. 16, 1928, Helen was the daughter of Richard and Diane Boswell Fassbender. She married Charlie Dilsizian Aug. 11, 1947. He preceded her in death Aug. 28, 1988. She is survived by sons, Charles Chuck (Jane) Dilsizian of Columbus, IN, Kenneth (Cindy) Dilsizian of Canton, MI, and Gerald (Rhonda) Dilsizian of Belleville, MI; grandchildren, Lori Dilsizian, Bryan Dilsizian, Melissa Young, David Dilsizian, Sarah Wiser, Kyle Dilsizian, Courtney Dilsizian and Jennifer Blystone; great-grandchildren, Trae Perkins, Jordyn Perkins, Nathan Wiser, Tyler Corrie and Joshua Corrie as well as three other great-grandchildren; and brothers, Ron (Mary Ann) Fassbender of New Orleans and John (Lena) Fassbender of New Orleans. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Funeral Information FUNERAL- 10 a.m. Friday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie Aigner officiating.
